To join in the fun, simply call (787) 723-3136 or (787) 723-3135, or write lelolai@prtourism.com to make your reservations.   Fiestas Patronales de Cabo Rojo (Cabo Rojo Patron Saint Festival) Place: Rebecca Colberg Coliseum, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico Date: Every year during the month of September Every year, Cabo Rojo celebrates its patron saint festival (fiestas patronales) in honor of the town's patron saint, San Miguel Arcángel. The festivities include religious processions since they were originated as a Catholic tradition, as well as colorful displays of pride and joy, featuring parades, games, rides, regional food, and live entertainment. The Festivities are also held to spotlight important regional, cultural or historical aspects.   International Isla Ratones Triathlon Place: Joyuda, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico Date: annually in March   Puerto Rico’s most grueling triathlon features a 1.8 kilometer swim, 40 mile bike ride, and 10 mile run.   Recordando el Ayer Festival (Rembering Yesterday Festival) Place: Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico Date: annually on the first week of May   A three day festival with local music, kitchen artifacts and decorations from the past (40's-70's). Bands from around the Island, domino games, local artisans and food kiosks.
